One of the most highly requested videos is what a week inside my hybrid training looks like!
“Hybrid” or “concurrent” training is combining resistance/strength training and cardiovascular training… a hybrid between both modalities. For me, it’s running/trail running + lifting/OLY.
There is no PERFECT way to do this or perfect “split” and will be very much dependent upon which season of training you are in, your fitness age, fitness level, and personal schedule.
This is a snapshot of what MY training looks like and a great example of how it varies, how it may need to be changed based on what the week presents, and things like training on tired legs, training using RPE, and more.
